Subject: My Uncle Joseph (Joe) Conlin Ultimate Sacrifice in WWII
Comments: My Uncle Joe (Joseph Conlin) was killed in the battle of
the bulge. My father and my other Uncle have limited information. He
was in the 254th Infantry Regiment. He was reported missing on Jan.
23rd, 1945 near Beblenheim we think. I was also told that he was
honored with the Bronze metal. His body was not recovered
immediately and due my Grandfather's anguish a body was returned but
my father and uncle are skeptical concerning it's authenticity. He
was a sniper and reportedly was trying to wipe out a German machine
gun nest.
Any help on how I can get more info would be appreciated.

I would also like information on a Great-Uncle, William Lawton or

information about them was that they are an active enlisted service
men for which he don't know other details what division or mother
unit they were assigned. Mr. Aquino has a heart ailment and a very
sick man. His only purpose is to get in touch with his children in
his remaining days of his life. Upon knowing his condition, my boss
Honorable Rene M. Velarde instructed me to act on this and find any
means how we can help this man. We know pretty much your office can
give us details about Mr. Alain Earvin and Artis Kristian Aquino.
Thank you very much and hoping to hear from you soon...I am....
Very truly yours,
Ms. Rosemarie I. Yutan
