Comments: My Uncle, MILTON W. CLEMENTS, JR. May have been known to his army buddies as "JUNIOR" OR "MILT". He was in the
MEDICAL DETACHMENT 347TH INFANTRY/30TH INFANTRY 3RD DIVISION (these appear on his records). He didn't talk about the
war, but he was a recipient of the Bronze Star. He received training at Camp McCain, MS, Fort Ord, CA and The Presidio, CA. His
buddies or their children can use my e-mail address. Or if you know of a good account of his group's engagements (we don't know exactly
where he was) in the European Theater please inform. Thank you veterans above and on earth.

From: Detroit, Michigan
email: jdanby@inos.com
Comments: I just began my search today for some information on my grandfather who was a 1st lieutenant with the 756th tank battalion.
His name was Edgar R Danby and he was killed in action late August 1944 along with the other two men in his tank somewhere in
southern France. He spoke fluent French and was a church organist by profession. This is my first shot in the dark, but does anyone
remember him? I'll tell my Dad about your wonderful website, and keep searching...

Request: Looking for information about DANIEL STARNES from Conrad, Montana.
He served with the 7th INF RGT, 3rd INF DIV. in Korea. Dan was wounded
by shrapnel on 7/22/51, patched up and sent back, then wounded again
9/29/51 and evacuated. He also lost a toe to frostbite somewhere along
the way. Can anyone tell me how to find his company and platoon? He trained
at Fort Belvoir, had an engineers insignia, and was a munitions handler. I would
like to be able to tell our children where he was when he was wounded on those dates.
Can anyone help? Dan passed away in 1983. Was the 3rd INF DIV at Chosin Reservoir?
Thank you so much. Peggy

Company A, 7th Infantry Regiment (attached to the 3rd Division) at the time he
was killed in action in France on 26 July 1918. I believe he was killed during the
fighting at Croix Rouge farm. All official records of his death have apparently been
lost, or destroyed in the St. Louis fire in '73. If any unit history information
may still exist that would help me learn more about the circumstances of my great-uncle's death, I would certainly appreciate hearing
