Subject: Records of Patrick Finnegan
Comments: Patrick Finnegan was my father who
was a WWI Veteran. He claimed he used his brother's birth certificate to
enlist. His brother, I believe, was Timothy Finnegan. His military
records were inadvertently destroyed but I remember reading about his
incident of being gassed during combat. His birth date was June 13, 1897
and he died in 1977. He was born in Benore, PA and died in Shippenville,
PA. I shore would like to obtain information about his military career.
I have, in my possession a victory medal articulating the battles in
which he fought.
Respectfully
James E. Finnegan |
