Comments:
Do you have a history of the 3rd U.S. Infantry during the Philippines-American
War
(Philippines Insurrection) from 1898-1902? My Grandfather served with the
3rd United States Infantry during the Philippines-American War in 1898-1901.
He was stationed near Hagroy in the northwestern part of the island of Luzon.
He was also involved in the 'Advance of Malabon' campaign. His VA records
indicate
he was with the 71st Company, Coast Artillery Corps at some point in his three
years.
My research indicates he might have been stationed at Ft. Snelling,
Minnesota
before shipping out to the Philippines. Sincerely, Raymond Tompkins

Subject: 3rd Division Book?
Comments:
My grandfather was in company E, 15th Infantry of the 3rd Infantry Division. His
name is Belere Reisinger
and he was a PFC. He is looking for a book he had that was on the 3rd Division
and had a picture of the Patch
for the division on the cover of the book. I was wondering if anyone knew where
I could get a copy of this book?
Also anyone who knew him or was in Company E, 15 Infantry, I would love to hear
from.
He received the Distinguished Service Cross, so I'd like to know anything I can
find out about him.
And I know he wonders about people he served with. Thank You
