Subject: orange traffic cones by convoy 3/20 (CST) in desert
Comments: On 3/20 in late evening CST, I saw ABC's Ted Koppel do a report
w/3rd Infantry Division convoy across desert. At one place, many orange
traffic cones were by the convoy - to mark a turn or hill or place where one
could lose the trail? War IS hell, but this reminded me of home. I hadn't been
videotaping. I told a buddy who is a helicopter-borne TV/radio traffic
reporter here. He was working then - covering an anti-war protest. He thought
it was a "hoot!" I want to send him a still from this video, or any still
photo of this scene, se he can enjoy what I saw. "Nightline" & ABC are NOT
cooperating. I could forward a pic to him by e-mail, even. Q: can you obtain a
still from ANY source of the scene I described, so I can share it with him,
please? I'd be "Much More Obliged," given what those soldiers have done in
Iraq. Thanks for your efforts to help.
