91st Reunion Additional
Information
We will have buses to transport all of
the attendees to all of the memorials plus wreaths to be
laid.
Cath Bacon will be the tour guide for the Saturday tour and
everyone will ride the Metro.
You will have Thursday evening to make your own plans to go
where ever you want to go at your own expense.
The lunch on Thursday will be a catered lunch. The lunch will take place at the Women
in the Military Services Memorial at Arlington.
Buses will transport all attendees to the Pentagon on
Thursday.
There will be one dinner for all regiments. Details are in the June Watch on the Rhine or website.
Individual tours such as a Dinner Cruise, Kennedy Center, US
Capitol, Supreme Court, the Folger Shakespeare Museum, Mt
Vernon
and other attractions must be arranged on an individual
basis at your own expense. Committee members and hotel staff
will assist
with advice as required. Public transportation is available
to most of these locations.
There will be no breakfast at
the Memorial Service on Sunday September 19th. |

room reservations for our 2010 Reunion. Please, call 1-800-233-1234
and mention "Society of the Third Infantry

Room rates
are quoted exclusive of applicable state and local taxes (which are
currently 10.25%) or applicable service, or hotel specific fees in

possible as the current rate for the single occupancy rate is
$359.00. The special rate rooms are limited in number. This hotel is a great place and I am positive that we will have an
unforgettable historical Reunion in 2010.

Outpost 2 Fall Reunion. Join your veteran friends for lunch at
Golden Corral, 4690 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida [half a
mile West of Exit 136 on Interstate 75].
Swap some Army memories, souvenirs and stories and hear about what
happened at the National Reunion in Washington, DC, in September.
Meet our new Vice President, Kathy Daddato, and Moxie, the dog that
she is training for the Paws for Patriots™ program.

Outpost 5 In August, we are thinking of having an picnic at
West Point and in November another meeting at the 76 House. We would
also like to hold a meeting in April if anyone has an idea for a

Outpost 7 will conduct Wreath Laying Ceremonies at the
Tomb of the Unknowns

Seafood Grill in Fredericksburg, Texas on November 6, 2010,

We are
working on air contracts right now and will be mailing the "
Desired Airport Departure, Tour Preference and Payment forms" to
those "already registered, with deposit in hand" within two
weeks. It's imperative that you get your pre registration form
into us just as soon as possible, to receive your first choice
of tour dates!
Note: If you are registered with a deposit on record, please do
not call us, you will automatically receive the Tour Preference
information for you to fill out, when published!
Reminder - This year the ROK government will pay for 50% of the
veterans airfare and 30% of the spouse/companion.
This is in addition to ALL THE EXPENSES for lodging, food,
entertainment, Medal Presentations and tours while in Korea!
