Associate and Honorary.
2. Types of membership are Life and
Annual.
3. Eligibility for Regular Membership:
Veterans and active duty soldiers with honorable service in regular components,
supporting, or attached units of the Third Infantry Division.
4. Eligibility for Associate Membership:
Spouse, parent, children or siblings of any person eligible for regular membership and any
person with an interest in or an affinity for the Society of the Third Infantry Division.
5. Members will comply with the
Constitution and By-Laws and pay dues.

Terms and Conditions: This Plan allows any member in good standing
or new domestic member to purchase a Life Membership by making the agreed payments.
Applicants must submit first payment to accompany application. The Society
will bill the applicant in based on choice of payment
type. Payment is due 30 days after receipt of the billing. Life Membership
will be issued upon successful completion of this agreement. No refund of
any portion of the current years dues will be made.

* There are 3551 members (2142 Regular
Annual, 1017 Regular Life, 341 Associate Annual, 46 Associate Life, and 6
Honorary)
* There are members from each of the
United States, Puerto Rico, as well as representation from
Belgium, Canada, France, Greece, Monaco, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom,
Brazil, Scotland, Germany, and Switzerland.
* Members have served during Peacetime,
World War II, China, Korea, Gulf War, Vietnam and Operation Iraqi Freedom
I-III and Iraq in 2007 and 2008 as well as Afghanistan.
* There are 1009 who served in World War
II including 21 who served in Korea also. 1158 who served in Korea - 416 who
served in the Cold War era - 22 who served in the Gulf War - 243 who served in
Peacetime and 309 who were and are serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom 1-3
& 2007.
* There are members from the U. S. Air
Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marines, United Kingdom Allied Forces, The Belgian
Brigade, The Greek Expeditionary Forces, The Argentine Army, German 19th
Army, French 1st Army, Italian Army, Italian Air Force, Korean Air Force,
and the Embedded Journalists from
Operation Iraqi Freedom.
