The American flag was officially raised over the Zeppelin Stadium Hazenkreuz in Nuremberg on April 21, 1945. Nuremberg was the scene of yearly Nazi Party rallies from 1933-1938. Zeppelin Stadium was built by Albert Speer from 1934-1937. |
