3rd Division GI's searching villagers as suspects , Cori, Italy.

Bh127x.jpg

French resistants, shaving head of woman who "Fraternized" with German troops. This picture must have been taken by a half dozen photographers at the same time. If you look at photo histories of World War II, that girl is seen from more angles than a replay of a touchdown at the Super Bowl. She was not an Intern working for the Nazi's. It was New Year's Eve and it seemed like the thing to do at the time. Do you realize, that if she is alive today, she is in her 80's. Time flies when you're having a good time.

"Pleased to Meet you!"

Say T-4 Harry S. Clark, Pfc. Oscar L. Bedford, T-5 Marion A. Summers and Pfc. Chin Yu all of Division Headquarters Company, when they encountered this mädchen on the roadside near Kaiserslautern, Germany.
